Ming Plate Turned Brownish
Greyish Black. The Ming Dynasty
Plate being edged with Foliated Rim decorated with a wave
of classic scrolls.
Extensively decorated with Cloud Collar
alternately filled with flower design and cloud
scrolls. Early Ming
pieces have finer qualities in its firing and great
pattern design, a spill over of perfect art from the
Yuan Dynasty
The
intensive fine design and make of the plate were meant
for the export market only and never meant for local
use
